Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl that features a different bookish topic every week.
Today’s topic is Books on my Spring 2024 TBR
Well, it’s time for the Spring 2024 TBR list! I only finished 4/10 of my Winter 2023-2024 TBR list, so if I was a good girl, I would’ve brought them forward to this list. But I’m not a good girl, and the heart wants what the heart wants, when the heart wants it.
Disclaimer: This Spring 2024 TBR list is non-binding and I reserve the right to change my mind and this list at any time.
I would like to finish all of these if I can because at the time of compiling this list, I assure you, I am very excited for all of them, but I am constantly distracted by new and shinier books all the time, so we’ll see how I end up doing!
Top Ten Books on my Spring 2024 TBR
- Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett – Because I loved the first book and want to continue with any and all sequels!
- Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree – Same as above, and even more so because I love it so much!
- The Keeper of Hidden Books by Madeline Martin – I’ve read two of the author’s books and loved them. I’m sure I’ll love this one too.
- Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson – It sounds so intriguing and I must know what everyone is raving about!
- The Butcher of the Forest by Premee Mohamed – I need this book, it sounds right up my alley. It gives me chills! In a good way.
- Shark Heart by Emily Habeck – I’ve been so curious ever since the TTT prompt for things you googled because of a book.
- Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman – This would be a reread, but I’ve been wanting to reread the whole series.
- Funny Story by Emily Henry – I am very, very, impatiently waiting for this one to be released!
- The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie – My online book club seems to be having a disagreement about whether this book is good or not, and we are required to choose sides, so I have to read it before making my decision!
- The Storm We Made by Vanessa Chan – A story set in Malaysia, written by a Malaysian author. I must support my countrywoman, and besides, the book sounds really good!
Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What’s on your Spring 2024 TBR?
I’ve not heard a lot of these books before but I like the sound of both Shark Heart and The Storm We Made – these kind of Top Ten Tuesdays are dangerous for my bank balance! Happy reading!
My Spring TBR
I feel the same way! I always end up adding more books to my TBR!
I really need to read more book by Premee Mohamed, they all sound so good. Funny Story is on my list this week too and I love Emily Wilde.
I haven’t read a single one by Premee but they do sound good! I’m excited for Funny Story and Emily Wilde!
I didn’t do well on my Winter TBR and didn’t bring my forward either 😂
A great looking list! I enjoyed Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands. Apparently there is another one in the pipeline which I am looking forward to!
I hope that you enjoy them when you get to them!
Have a great week!

Oh that’s so exciting to hear! More Emily Wilde to look forward to.
Bookshops & Bonedust sure sounds good.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
I hope it’s as good as the first one!
I want to read the Emily Wilde book and Bookshops & Bonedust. I liked the first books in those series, but I’m so bad at reading series! I get distracted by other books.
Lol yes, it’s so easy to get distracted! Argh!
Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone does sound really interesting. I’ve been thinking about picking that one up, too. And I haven’t see the Dragonlance books around in ages! I hope you enjoy the reread. I know I read some of those books, but I can’t remember where in the series (or why) I stopped reading them.
Happy reading! Here’s my TTT this week.
I have a lot of nostalgia around the Dragonlance books, I really hope they stand up to the test of time!
I’m not familiar with a lot of these books, but the covers all make them look good. I hope you love them all.
Thank you!
The Storm We Made looks interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It does! I hope it’s good!
I used to make these lists and follow them to the letter, now I stick mostly to mood reading 😉
Same! And I’m a moody person. 😂
I’ve read The Keeper of Hidden Books and really enjoyed it (as far as that’s possible with a book about WO2).

I totally get that! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I want to read The Keeper of Hidden Books, it sounds so good. I read Legends & Lattes and it was fine, but to me it didn’t stand up to the hype but I hope you enjoy it and the other books on your list.
Aww, sorry Legends & Lattes didn’t live up to the hype for you. I hope you’ll love The Keeper of Hidden Books if you read it!
I’m really looking forward to reading Bookshops and Bonedust as well as The Butcher of the Forest.
Same! So excited for both!
I’m also so impatiently waiting for Funny Story 🙂 Hope you’ll love all of these!
Thank you! I hope we both enjoy Funny Story!
This is a great TBR! I just got Shark Heart and I’m so curious about that one. I cannot wait to read Funny Story! I hope you enjoy all of these. 🙂
Thanks! I hope you enjoy Shark Heart! And Funny Story, when it’s out.
I loved the Stevenson book and eagerly waiting to get my hands on a copy of the next one in the series.

I’m excited for it too!
I hope you enjoy Emily Wilde 2! 🙂
Thank you! ❤️
Great looking list, I have the first Travis Baldree book ordered at the library. May have been from you I heard about them, I have seen them now in a few places so looking forward to it.
I hope you’ll love it! It’s just such a joy to read!
Map of the Otherlands was a looot of fun, hope you get chance to read it soon!
Yes please! Really soon, I hope!
I liked Shark Heart, but I wasn’t crazy about it. I hope to read the new Emily Henry book.
I love Emily Henry’s books!
All of these look great! I just finished Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands in February and loved it—so action-packed and much more fast-paced than the first book. I hope you love all of these reads! 😍
Oooh, you’re just making me anticipate the book so much more! I’m really excited for it!
I’ve read the Vanessa Chan novel. It’s worth reading and a different kind of angle on the usual WWII stories. But man the family is put thru the ringer! I’m curious too about Shark Heart. It received a lot of attention last year but I didn’t get to it. Good luck with these!
I’m so curious about the Vanessa Chan book now. I really hope I’ll be able to get to it soon!
