Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl that features a different bookish topic every week.
Today’s topic is Book Covers that Give off Fall Vibes
Normally I’d have no problems looking for books with fall vibes, but I’ve recently participated in a couple of reading challenges where there were a few prompts for books with fall vibes, and I just feel like doing something a little different today. Besides, my alphabetical TTT series has been a little slow, so I might as well add to it!
Top Ten Books Beginning with F

- Fahrenheit 451Â by Ray Bradbury – One of those classics I can’t believe I haven’t read yet.
- Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley – I keep going back and forth with this one; I wasn’t interested in it, but I keep seeing and hearing about it and I’m curious!
- Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson – This book calls to the part of me that’s broken but still has a wicked sense of humor. I should probably read it soon and get a little carthasis out of it.
- Falling by T.J. Newman – This one sounds thrilling and I’ve been excited to read it for a while.
- The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North – Time travel scifi, right up my alley, it has been on my TBR since it came out 10 years ago and I’m annoyed with myself that I haven’t read it yet!
- Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith – I’ve loved many of the author’s books, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy this one too!
- Funny Farm by Laurie Zaleski – I love animals and at one point I wanted to be a vet, but now that I have pets and understand the responsibility of taking care of them, I don’t think I’ll want more than a few at a time. I’m sure I’ll enjoy reading about someone else doing it though!
- Firestarter by Stephen King – Is it even a Haze TTT if there’s no Stephen King book on the list?!
- Fayne by Ann-Marie MacDonald – My library was featuring this book quite aggressively and it worked! I’m interested! It’s more than 700 pages though, so I’m waiting for the right time to pick it up.
- Foxfire, Wolfskin by Sharon Blackie – Mythology, folklore, and fairy tales about women from across Europe. I want it, I need it. I want more!
Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? Would you read any of these books?

I have ‘Field Notes’ on my shelf and it looks (and sounds) like such a fun read. One I’m still anticipating. 🙂
It does look like a fun read! I’m excited to get to it as well.
I am off the board this week, too. I am interested in some of these books, too.
I love where you went with your topic! I haven’t thought about my own favorite books of summer but I should take a look.
Funny Farm sounds good, big challenges with that many animals though.
Absolutely! There’s no way I’ll ever do it so I’ll just read about it!
Well you managed to get fall in there anyway with Falling! 😊
That’s true! I got one!
Firekeeper’s Daughter is one of my favorite books. I hope you enjoy reading it when we get the chance.

I’m glad to hear that! I’m looking forward to reading it, thank you!
This looks good. The Furiously Happy cover made me laugh.
Have a great week!

It’s a cute cover, it made me laugh too!
I love this idea! Funny Farm looks fun and interesting! I feel the same way about Harry August; it’s been on my list for years. I hope you’ll find the time to read it someday 🙂

Poor Harry August, I really should get to it sooner rather than later!
Fahrenheit 451 – It’s one of the most memorable books I’ve ever read. Sadly, it’s quite prescient.
Yeah, we live in dystopian times. 🫤
Ooh, I’m curious about Foxfire, Wolfskin now!
If you read it, I’m totally there for your review!
Firestarter was such a good book.
Good to know!
You definitely have to read Fahrenheit 451! It’s quite a short book which always helps.
That’s an added incentive for sure!
i love the cover for Field Notes! My TTT
Me too! It’s so cute!
It’s been ages since I read it but I do remember really enjoying Field Notes! I still need to finish Furiously Happy (sad that I wound up listening to that on audiobook on a long-haul plane ride and kept knocking out until the book almost reached the end by the time I woke up—oops! 🤣). Great choice of topic!
I’ve had that happen to me a few times, listening to a book on audio and falling asleep several times! Hopefully you get to finish it soon!
I loved The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North! It makes me happy to see it on your list. 🙂
So glad to hear that! It makes me want to read it sooner!
The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August sounds right up my alley too, but I haven’t read it yet either. I hope you enjoy it when you read it!
Thank you! I hope you do too!
There are quite a few Jenny Lawson titles I’m curious about and Furiously Happy is one of them. And Funny Farm sounds really cute, I want to read about rescue animals but I’m pretty sure I’ll cry.

Omg, I know right! I love animal stories, but I need them all to be happy and safe!

Thanks!
Although a few of these do have fall vibes as well 😉
Lol, I’m glad I got some unintentionally!
Oh, wow! More books for me to add to my TBR tower. Thank you.
The TBR tower is a forever growing skyscraper!
Nice! I’ve read THE FIREKEEPER’S DAUGHTER and FIRESTARTER (a million years ago).
Happy TTT!

Thank you!
I absolutely love that you decided to flip the theme and focus on ‘F’ books instead! Alphabetical lists are always so much fun. I’m especially keen on *The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August*; it’s an incredible read, and I hope you get to it soon. Also, I’ve had *Fayne* on my radar—700 pages is a commitment, but it sounds fascinating!
Which of these ‘F’ books do you think you’ll pick up first?
700 is a commitment for sure! I’m probably going to start with Falling, because I have it from the library right now and I hope I can finish it before the due date!
I have exactly the same with Firekeeper’s Daughter, I’m still in doubt too!
